When we decided to move out of state, we hired Cira Augerson of RE/MAX Realty Centre to sell our single-family home. Her process, attention to detail, and research helped us sell our home in record time and for more than we expected. This year, we sold another home, an aged luxury condo in North Bethesda. Cira had stated we should call her as early as possible when we decided to sell it, and we did. The first step was to decide whether to sell it “As Is”, which was our initial choice, or to renovate and sell at a higher price point. Cira convinced us to remodel and said she would take care of the renovation, including the choice of contractors, cabinets, counter tops, fixtures, flooring, and the staging, all in two months, and on budget. We were a bit skeptical about what would be the net proceeds garnered after remodel expenses, but we trusted her experience and judgement, and moved ahead. We left the state, and when we returned, the condo was transformed, and the listing was live. The condo sold the same week (on time), and the net proceeds, after expenses, were again higher than expected. You should feel confident in hiring or referring Cira for your real estate needs. Cira did a fantastic job helping us sell our house…from getting us people to do the work that was necessary to prepare the house for sale to staging our house and having professional photos taken. She kept us informed about comparable sales in the area in the weeks prior to putting ours on the market which helped us determine a fair and reasonable asking price (which drew multiple offers). Even after we had a contract, she didn’t stop…she followed up with all interested parties whenever necessary. We would highly recommend Cira to anyone interested in selling their home!

I met Cira Augerson five years ago when she helped me purchase a home. I called on her again this year to help me sell that same home, as well as another second home, while I am now living in California. Five years ago she saved me money with better financing than I had secured, and through negotiating the contract. This year she saved me aggravation, time, and money on two homes. Her network of "people" is deep and no amount of repair or renovation dissuades her from taking the listing. Basically she took the keys, decided the scope of work required, hired a reasonable and trustworthy GC. Then she went further and decided all details including flooring, paint color, vanities - everything, then she sold it for much more than I expected in just 12 weeks from giving her the keys to settlement date. My second home needed less work but still required a plumber, painting, light fixtures, etc. She got the work done seamlessly then staged it beautifully and sold it, again much better and much faster than I ever expected. She stayed in communication with me the entire time and she took care of every detail. I highly recommend Cira Augerson if you are buying or selling, however I recommend her most if you are an absentee owner and need to hand her the keys and walk away.

Cira is the best! She was so helpful, supportive and knowledgeable in helping us to buy a beautiful home in a tough market for home-buyers. She is patient, thoughtful and extremely effective. Cira did a wonderful job in handling all the steps for selling my condo unit! She helped me with the entire process, including not just all of the paperwork involved, but also in handling the extra steps of hiring contractors and cleaning crews, taking care of staging, and having professional photos taken for the listing. We quickly received multiple offers, did some final negotiations that gave me great price above what I was asking, and got the contract signed shortly afterwards! Since I had moved out of the state , she was the person who took the time and care needed to make sure it all happened as easily as possible and very, very professionally by all those involved!
